Casa Vinicola Zonin USA Off to a Fast Start, Tops 100,000 Case Sales in Florida

Miami, Florida (March 21, 2012) – Casa Vinicola Zonin USA off to a fast start and for the first time passes the 100,000 cases depletion in the state of Florida in 2011.  The past year has been a busy one on the new product front for Casa Vinicola Zonin USA with introduction of Winemaker’s Collection, Regions Collection, Primo Amore Moscato and new wines from each of the seven imported estates.

Casa Vinicola Zonin’s depleted about 100,000 cases after a successful launch of Winemaker’s Collection Pinot Grigio with sales over 50,000 cases. “There is a large portion of consumers that are looking for something more crisp, straightforward and easy to drink.” says Steve Howard, National Sales Director for Casa Vinicola Zonin USA.  Casa Vinicola Zonin USA launched Winemaker’s Collection with seven varietals – Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Chianti, DOCG, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet, Montelpulciano d’Abruzzo DOC – and recently added three perfect summer wines, which include Riesling, Rosato and Moscato.

The 100,000 case depletion was also driven by Zonin Prosecco sales in excess of 7,500 cases, Castello D’Albola Chianti Classico (90 points Top 100 Wine Spectator) with sales of over 7,000 cases and Ca’Bolani Pinot Grigio of 6,000 cases.
