Food and wine lovers will enjoy a four-course feast with each course paired to perfection by ZONIN1821

October 1, 2015 (Miami, FL) – ZONIN1821, seven generations of winemakers, and Toscana Divino, the acclaimed Italian restaurant in the heart of Mary Brickell Village, are proud to announce the exclusive monthly wine dinner series, “Behind the Red Curtain: An Exclusive Tour of Italy”. Each month, beginning October 12th, the wine dinners will showcase a four-course menu, which will be curated and prepared by the award-winning culinary team from Toscana Divino. The featured menu will be paired with ZONIN1821’s esteemed wine estates from the seven most important wine regions in Italy.

With a partner like Toscana Divino, we want to create a food lovers community around exquisite food and wine. Diners can discover the authentic Italian regional cuisine paired with indigenous grapes of each region.”

“We want our patrons to feel they are entering a world that is thoroughly traditionally Italian, but also contemporary,” stated Mauro Bortignon, General Manager of Toscana Divino. “We are creating a link between our Italian regions and the local Miami area, thereby building a bridge between the two cultures,” he added.

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a refreshing flute of Zonin Prosecco followed by a four- course gourmet dinner highlighting fresh, seasonal ingredients. Dishes will be paired with expertly selected wines to complement each region’s cuisine. For the month of October, ZONIN1821 and Toscana Divino will highlight the Tuscan Chianti region. The menu will include locally inspired plates such as Salumi and Formaggi, Crostini Al Pate, Pici and Risotto Funghi, Fiorentina with Fagioli, Mashed Potatoes, and Cavolo Nero, and for dessert, Panforte Di Siena with Vin Santo.

Guests will enjoy casual conversation about wines with a featured sommelier, as well as wonderful raffle prizes, including free bottles of wine and other gifts sure to delight both foodies and oenophiles.

The first wine dinner of the series will take place on Monday, October 12th with seating at 7 p.m. for $80 pp. Guests must be age 21 or older to participate in this event. To reserve seating, call
